As Head of Brand for Third Place Design, Dani Eastwood works closely with landscape architects, councils and development partners to bring bold, bespoke play environments to life. With more than 15 years of experience spanning business development, brand strategy and project delivery, Dani leads with a collaborative mindset—ensuring every project is aligned to client vision and built for lasting community impact.
Holding a double degree in International Trade and Asian Studies, Dani combines strategic thinking with deep creative insight. Her commitment to nature-inspired, unstructured play has helped shape some of Australia’s most iconic adventure play destinations.
With experience delivering custom-designed projects from $250K to $4 million+, Dani understands the complexity and nuance of bespoke design. She’s committed to making the journey clear, collaborative and deeply rewarding—helping clients navigate early ideas through to standout community outcomes.

Peter Koch
Head Designer
With more than 25 years’ experience in playground construction and manufacturing, Peter is the creative mind behind many of Australia’s most iconic custom play environments. As the design lead behind numerous multi-million-dollar, award-winning projects, Peter continually challenges the status quo—pushing the boundaries of what play can look and feel like.
Every concept Peter touches is crafted from the ground up in full 3D space, merging creativity with constructability. His designs aren’t just visually striking; they’re resolved in detail, with engineering and construction seamlessly integrated from day one. This approach ensures every space is as practical as it is imaginative, tailored to site, budget and the needs of the community.
Known for his bold ideas, technical mastery, and unwavering commitment to design excellence, Peter plays a central role in driving innovation in design. From towering nature-play structures to playful artistic features, Peter’s work continues to redefine what’s possible in public play and leaves a lasting legacy in every community it touches.
