Our Story
Every legacy has an origin. Ours, is Playscape Creations; born from a desire to reimagine what play and outdoor recreation could look like in within the broader urban landscape.
Founded in 1998, our early days were grounded in a belief that playgrounds should do more than entertain; they should inspire, include and endure.
At the time, the market was dominated by off-the-shelf solutions, which we felt lacked the flexibility and creativity to meet the unique needs of diverse Australian communities.
Over the years, Playscape Creations expanded to offer a true end-to-end solution—from initial concept design through to manufacturing and professional installation.
In 2025, Playscape Creations rebranded to PARX Group; encompassing a range of specialist businesses, supported by dedicated team and expert resources to deliver the best outcomes for our clients.
This change also saw the creation of Third Place Design as a dedicated service for bespoke design.

From customisable play towers to nature-based environments, integrated low-resource use interactive water play and destination play spaces, our in-house design studio works hand in hand with clients to co-create spaces that celebrate community identity and meet the needs of growing populations.
At the heart of our design philosophy is the belief that public spaces should serve everyone. They should invite children to explore, teens to test their limits, adults to connect and elders to reflect. Through best practise design and inclusion planning, we ensure each environment contributes positively to the social, environmental and economic fabric of its community.
